What was life like behind the walls of a 14th-century Carthusian monastery, and how does this sit alongside research laboratories dedicated to cutting-edge scientific disciplines?
Our faculty campus is regarded as one of the most beautiful in the world. And rightly so, for here the legacy of the monks’ quiet cells and the monastery gardens blends with cutting-edge research, often of world-class standard. You can, of course, see for yourself just how unique this place is with a 3D tour. However, experiencing the architectural and historical beauty of the Faculty of Information Technology in person – and, what’s more, with the architect responsible for its restoration – is truly priceless. You’ll get a glimpse into areas that are normally off-limits and learn what took place here long before computer scientists took up residence.
We’re offering the tour in two sessions, starting in the courtyard by the fountain with the little ducks at 5.00 pm and 6.30 pm.

By participating in the Researcher's Night event, you acknowledge that photographs and audiovisual recordings may be taken during the event for documentation and promotional purposes.
