Have you ever wondered what journey a photo from your cell phone takes before it reaches a friend on the other side of the world? It travels along what’s known as the “information superhighway”! And this year, you’ll set out on that journey with the CTU Central Library. You’ll discover the technologies that underpin communication in today’s world. And when you get tired from the journey, you can rest in our relaxation zone, where you’ll recharge your batteries. 

But you can also relax actively here. Before people set out on the information superhighways, they came up with many ways to communicate with one another across space and time. That’s why our library will temporarily transform into a scriptorium, where you can try your hand at writing in cuneiform on clay or wax tablets, deciphering hieroglyphs, writing with a quill or on a typewriter, or printing your own picture.
