At the Faculty of Architecture, Brno University of Technology, you can look forward to two lectures, an exhibition, a space-themed installation, and interactive and play stations for children and adults alike. The exhibition ‘From Words to Emotions: How Our Communication Is Changing’ will present the exhibition proposals ‘System Mutation’ and ‘Ethogram of Emotions’ for the Moravian Museum, and will demonstrate how language and emotions are transforming in the context of media and digital communication.

A lecture on informal settlements will take you to Addis Ababa and Kathmandu, cities in a state of constant transformation. You will learn how to study these settlements and why it is important to approach their future without prejudice. The Frontier project, meanwhile, will showcase how architects are designing environments for human life and work in very low Earth orbit. The programme will be rounded off by a lecture entitled ‘Baroque Architecture as a Means of Communication’, which will show how the buildings of Jan Blažej Santini-Aichel connected people, spirituality, tradition and the powers that be at the time.
