Science and Technology Centre
The Lower Vítkovice Area - A unique architectural place on the site of former Vítkovice Ironworks which is being transformed into the cultural and educational centre of the city in accordance with Josef Pleskot´s designs. The Night of Scientists program will take place in the Science and Technology Centre (STC) - the popular science centre opened in September 2014. The World of Civilization, The World of Science and Discoveries, The World of Nature and finally The Child´s World are the permanent exhibitions behind the characteristic unmistakable mirror facade. The buildings will not be freely accessible to visitors during The Night of Scientists event! Groups interested in a specific program will always be picked up by a guide at the reception.
