Gymnázium a SOŠ dr. Václava Šmejkala Ústí nad Labem
A secondary school in the Severní Terasa district of Ústí nad Labem offering education in four-year and eight-year grammar school programs, Applied Chemistry, and Public Administration. The school is located in a part of the city with excellent transport accessibility. It also includes its own canteen with highly regarded cuisine.
Since the 2011/2012 school year, by decision of the founder, our school has been merged with the Secondary Vocational School at Stará 100, and as of September 2012, it also includes the building and chemistry programs of the former Secondary Technical School at Stará 99. At the same time, the school was designated as one of the "Backbone Schools of the Ústí Region."
Originally, the school was located at Stavbařů 5. Starting with the 2023/2024 school year, it moved to a fully renovated building at Stará 99. This address has since become the new official seat of the school, and we are no longer known as “Stavbařka.”
