Commented presentation

Insects rely on natural light conditions for orientation, timing their activity, and communicating with their surroundings. Artificial light at night disrupts these processes, changes the behaviour of many species, and affects the functioning of entire ecosystems. Using spectral light traps, we will demonstrate how different colours of light affect different groups of insects and how light pollution interferes with natural communication signals in nature.
