What messages does our body send us every day?
Come and discover the fascinating world of the human body at Science Night 2026, which will take place for the very first time at the modern campus of the Faculty of Medicine in Plzeň, Charles University, which was officially opened in 2022.
An evening full of experiments, interactive stations, lectures and a science stand-up show awaits you! Try your hand at surgical suturing, measure your reactions to light and sound, look through a microscope, examine anatomical specimens and experience what it’s like to be a scientist.
Together, we’ll follow the pathways of communication between the brain, nerves, senses and individual cells. You’ll discover how scientists ‘read body language’ using state-of-the-art technology, and how understanding these signals helps us treat diseases and protect our health.
Come and experience science first-hand, and discover that our bodies still have a lot to say.
Practical information:
We will publish the times and topics of the individual lectures in good time. Lectures will be in CZ language.
Transport:
Free parking is available in the campus outdoor car park, subject to availability. We recommend using public transport (the ‘U Gery’ or ‘Lékařská fakulta)
